They are the leading supplier of parts for the boiler industry, with products such as heat exchangers, tube bundles, traps, valves, boiler controls and more.
The platform enables online sales for companies that:
  • have a highly diversified product assortment
  • offer products from multiple categories with complex and non-standard specifications
  • sell products that require expert consultation, as even minor parameter errors can lead to serious consequences

The Challenges
Online sales channels help companies stay ahead of their competitors. However, our client was unable to use a standard online store for the following reasons:
  • Complex Goods
    Our customer sells technologically sophisticated products that are smaller components of multi-component systems. These products require precise configuration while still maintaining standardized structure. The client needed the ability to dynamically create and customize product cards.

  • Multivariate Analysis
    When designing heating or industrial systems with specific technical parameters, our client’s customers use elements that need to be defined with clarity and precision. Each component has fixed technical characteristics that must be strictly followed. However, if a required component is unavailable, it must be replaced by carefully combining alternative components with different parameters to ensure the final system still meets all required operational specifications.

  • Rigid Standardization
    The product purchased by a buyer must be fully compatible with other elements of the system. Any error or assumption in the parameter of a system element can lead to a malfunction, so accuracy is vital to avoid dangerous accidents.

  • Delayed Consequences
    An error in choosing a product may not appear immediately but lead to a system failure over time. By that point, the component’s expected service life may already be exhausted, and the system may be operating at full capacity, making any shutdown extremely costly.

The products are presented for sale on a publicly available website and may be accessed by individuals with limited industry experience.
